Stevens holds community forum to discuss presidential search

HOBOKEN, N.J. - On March 10, Stevens Institute of Technology held a forum to introduce the entire Stevens community to the executive search firm Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates. The university has retained the firm to lead the search for its seventh president. Steven Schulman’62, chair of the presidential search committee, announced that Jim Walsh’69, Rick Roscitt ’73, Andy Kaplan ’09 and Virginia Ruesterholtz ’83 would be the Trustee members. Faculty, staff and students also will serve on the search committee.

The forum was held in an effort to help Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates get a better understanding from the community about Stevens and the opportunities and challenges its new president will face. The firm heard from students, administration and faculty who had questions, concerns and ideas related to the search. The discussion also garnered input about presidential attributes and leadership priorities.
