Keynote address by Ariane Fisher, co-founder of StoryMix Media and Stevens’ graduate. "From Senior Design to Successful Start-up: Taking Your Stevens Experience from Theoretical to the Real World"
The knowledge you gain from Stevens will deliver immense value to society and industry. Ms. Fisher will share key insights from her journey of launching an Entrepreneur Magazine Brilliant 100 company from her own senior design project. StoryMix Media was a finalist in three incubators at a time when there were only about 20 in the nation. In her talk, you will learn:

About Ariane Fisher
Ariane Fisher is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Storymix Media, a fun way to crowdsource photos and videos from friends into an edited video. Ms. Fisher is an Apple Certified professional video editor and has been featured on ABC Evening News in Chicago and published in Crain’s Chicago Business, Forbes, WeddingMBA, Wedlock Magazine and Rangefinder Online. She enjoys working with wedding couples, parents, and small businesses to transform their video clips and photos into meaningful stories.
Storymix Media was listed in Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the top 100 tech companies of 2013. Their first product, WeddingMix, is a unique alternative to the traditional wedding video. Storymix Media will soon launch a revolutionary new product, VideoStitch, where users can crowdsource photos and videos from friends and create unique edited videos– all for free. Storymix Media also participated in the Capital Factory Incubator program in Austin, Texas. Ms. Fisher graduated with honors from Stevens Institute of Technology and started her career at Ford Motors Company as an engine design and field service engineer.
