A Talk by Neuroscientist Joseph LeDoux.

You're face to face with a mugger. He's got a gun to your head. What goes on in your brain? Come and hear a talk about the neurobiology of fear from leading expert Joseph LeDoux. Author of the classic science books The Emotional Brain and The Synaptic Self, LeDoux will discuss research aimed at understanding and controlling fear, our most primal, essential and potentially debilitating emotion. LeDoux is Henry and Lucy Moses Professor of Science in the Center for Neural Science at New York University and Director of the Emotional Brain Institute. He is also a front man for the rock band The Amygdaloids.
