On Friday, March 1, Chris Grilo (Coordinator, Writing and Communications Center) will be presenting a paper, "Refigured Bodies: A Volatile (Groszian) Reading of Parks," at "Minding the Body: Dualism and its Discontents," an academic conference hosted by the English Student Association (ESA) of the CUNY Graduate Center English PhD program. Also this weekend, Prof. Ricky Graham (Assistant Professor, Music and Technology) will be presenting his research in Music and Diplomacy at a conference at Tufts University and Harvard University. Prof. Graham's research focuses on the development of a workshop model for cross-community initiatives at interface areas in Northern Ireland. His paper, "Creative Bridge Building in Northern Ireland: A case study of the utilization of open-source creative technologies amongst Protestant and Catholic youth in Northern Ireland as a tool for social capital development," will be given at the Center for the Humanities at Tufts University and the Mahindra Humanities Center at Harvard University on March 1 and 2, 2013.
