Overview
The Maritime Security Center (MSC) is piloting a one-day, instructor-led professional development course tailored to maritime industry C-suite and senior-level executives. The course is designed to provide a practical understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminology, and an awareness of cyber-physical risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigations within the context of the maritime transportation sector.
The course emphasizes the concept of business impact to identify and analyze cyber threats and their potential consequences and introduces cybersecurity risk frameworks to enable informed enterprise risk management decisions. It aims to bridge the communication gap between business leaders and their IT teams and provides strategies for enhancing resilience before, during, and after a cyber-attack.
