Electronics Shop
The Electronics Shop at Stevens Schaefer School of Engineering and Science is an institute-wide resource serving the entire Stevens community by enabling design ideas and engineering solutions to move from concept to functional prototype.
The electronics shop is staffed by a full-time electrical technician with many years of hands-on and practical experience in the manufacture, fabrication and deployment of unique engineered systems, from student prototypes to fully functional systems.

The Machine Shop at Stevens Schaefer School of Engineering and Science is an institute-wide resource serving the entire Stevens community by enabling design ideas and engineering solutions to move from concept to functional prototype.The facility is staffed by full-time designers and machinists, with more than 75 years of hands-on and practical experience in the manufacture, fabrication and deployment of unique engineered systems from student prototypes to fully functional systems.
Safety
Safety is a primary focus of the shop. All students, faculty, and staff are required to follow the safety requirements while in the shop. Any member of the Stevens community who disregards the shop safety procedures or directions or in any way, endangers the safety
of themselves or others is subject to ejection from the shop.

How to Manufacture Your Part
Senior Project Teams - After submitting your drawing(s) and receiving approval from the machine shop to move forward, you can request time in the shop to manufacture those parts under the close supervision of the machine shop staff.1. Submit one person's name from the team to:
1. E-Mail: [email protected]
Subject: "Scheduler Registration" to gain access to the shop's calendars.
2. The scheduler will coordinate time for (maximum 3 people) on either of the shop's Google calendar(s).
3. Show up for your scheduled time.
