Ms. Votis is currently Chairman of Teaching Matters, a non-profit organization dedicated to technology in New York's Public Schools.
She serves as an advisor to the music program at the 92nd Street Y, where she served as Director of Music Programming from 2003 – 2009 and established comprehensive music education programs for various age groups.
In New York, she serves on the Education / Programming Committee of the New York Public Library. Prior to this role, Ms. Votis was a consultant to numerous European cultural organizations, including the Bibliothèque National de France, where she specialized in the interface between private and public funding, and the Philharmonia Foundation.
She is a board member of the Paris Opera House, the Philharmonia Foundation and the Miller Theatre at Columbia University, where she focuses on the advancement and curation of new music. She has recently joined the board of FAPE, using arts as a diplomatic tool in US embassies.
