MD, Executive Vice President
Dr. Anthony Slonim, MD, DrPh is the Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Barnabas Health, where he is responsible for assuring the delivery of outstanding patient care. He is an internist and a pediatrician who completed specialty training in intensive care medicine for both adults and children. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY, and has a master’s and doctorate in Public Health Administrative Medicine and Health Policy from the Center for Health Policy Studies at the George Washington University’s School of Public Health.
Dr. Slonim has a research program in healthcare quality and patient safety focused specifically on high risk, low frequency events that occur during hospitalization. He is a Professor of Medicine, Pediatrics, Community, and Public Health at the University of Medicine and Dentistry’s New Jersey Medical School and the Virginia Tech-Carilion School of Medicine.
