The Sustainability Seminar Series continues both onsite and online via a Blackboard Collaborate webinar on Wednesday, March 8 with Sustainability: Scale and Complexity with Dr. George Korfiatis, Stevens Institute of Technology.
Dr. George Korfiatis joined Stevens as an assistant professor of environmental engineering in 1983. He founded the Center for Environmental Systems in 1988 and performed research in the areas of groundwater pollution, remediation and drinking water quality. He has published many papers in these areas in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Korfiatis served as dean of the Schaefer School of Engineering and provost and university vice-president of Stevens from 2002 to 2016.
The Sustainability Seminar Series is organized by the master of science program in Sustainability Management and sponsored by the Center for Environmental Systems and the Department of Civil, Environmental and Ocean Engineering (CEOE). This seminar is also available online through Blackboard Collaborate.
