Simply put, startup marketing is a unique challenge often times because of the limited resources, whether it’s time, money or talent. Scott Kerr, a marketing executive with 30+ years’ experience, will lead a session on the basics of startup marketing and how to expand your ability to approach marketing from a strategic perspective.
During his career, he worked on cross-platform marketing solutions with notable organizations such as Time Inc., People, Fortune, Entertainment Weekly and Sports Illustrated. His clients were primarily Fortune 500 companies including Samsung, Microsoft, Apple, Verizon, Target, P&G, Walmart, Fidelity, Eli Lilly, L'Oreal and Ford to name a few. Scott has held senior media and marketing roles at some of the top ad agencies, media companies and consumer brands including Pepsi-Cola, Conde Nast, BBDO, Ammirati & Puris, Burson-Marsteller and Real Media. He also frequently speaks at industry events and college campuses on emerging technology, marketing, and the future of brands.
