Model Theory Seminar

An introduction to model theory by a leading expert

The Model Theory Seminar, organized by the Department of Mathematical Sciences, meets every Thursday.

Rizos Sklinos, a leading expert in model theory and a new faculty member in the department, will give a series of lectures intended to introduce the subject in a relaxed setting before going on to discuss stability and stable groups. Torsion-free hyperbolic groups, and free groups in particular, will constitute one natural source of examples.

Questions about the seminar can be emailed to Rizos at [email protected]. Everyone is welcome!
