Hugo Neu Corporation Sustainability Seminar Series: Liquid-Applied Membranes: Sustainable & Energy-Efficienct Systems

Department of Civil, Environmental and Ocean Engineering

The World Community faces the existential Climate Crisis that is challenging the way we live, think and work. The known impact by human beings on the environment is nothing new and the time is yesterday to address our carbon footprint around the Globe. One example of humans coming together constructively to confront this global environmental crisis is the World Green Building Council which is coming up on its 30th Anniversary in 2023. This Presentation will look at how Liquid-Applied Membrane Systems help to answer these important questions regarding our impact on the environment and what benefits liquid applied membranes provide to both commercial and residential buildings, existing or new construction. We will look to gain a better understanding of the importance of Liquid-Applied Membranes, how they impact the environment around us and being part of an ever emerging green job market.
