Please join us for the lecture titled, Frankenstein, Frankenstein and the Dream of Science to be delivered by Dr. Susan Wolfson of Princeton University. This exciting lecture commemorates the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, one of the most widely read novels in the English language and among the most compelling for scientists, engineers and creators of all kinds. This Charles E. Robinson Memorial Lecture, named for the esteemed editor of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein notebooks, is a follow-up event to the Stevens conference Technologies of Frankenstein: 1818-2018.
This lecture, free and open to the public, is a globally networked event of Romantic Bicentennials and Frankenreads, an NEH-funded initiative of the Keats-Shelley Association of America. Please direct any inquiries to the event organizer, Robin Hammerman.
