Annual Conference of the Financial Cybersecurity Project at Stevens

The annual FinCyberSec conference will explore technical, regulatory, process and human dimensions of cyber threats faced by financial systems and markets.  Speakers will examine challenges and opportunities related to technical architectures, big data, threat hunting and incident response in the context of cybersecurity for financial institutions and service providers. The conference is presented by Stevens in partnership with the New Jersey chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Controls Association (ISACA).

Speakers will include: 

  • "Digital Ethics and Cybersecurity: Oversight and Governance in a Data-Rich Environment." Tom Doughty, vice president and chief information security officer, Prudential Financial.
  • "History of Cybersecurity Technology: Threats and Countermeasures." Jennifer Bayuk, cybersecurity risk framework, FrameCyber.
  • "Cybersecurity, Complexity and Artificial Intelligence." Aman Singh, chief scientist, Palindrome Technologies.

There is no cost to attend FinCyberSec 2019, but registration is required.
