School of Business - Stevens Academic Seminar Series

This lecture will provide an introduction to the market of startup and other small-businesses financing. After outlining the characteristics of the market and the most relevant financing channels — venture capital and private equity funds, angel investors, crowdfunding, and ICOs — we will provide a brief overview of the critical catalysts to an investment, including opportunity recognition, addressable market, strategy, and planned execution and value, from an investor's point of view.
About the presenter
