The Stevens Venture Center Speaker Series presents Dror Futter, Esq., partner at RIMÔN Law.

Understanding start-up compensation, particularly with stock sharing and option plans, is important not only for founders of start-up companies. It is also important for those who take jobs at start-ups so that they understand the risks and rewards of their compensation plans. Dror Futter's practice focuses on representing startup companies in their financing and merger and acquisition transactions and their intellectual property, IT and internet agreements.  Dror was the general counsel of Vidyo, Inc., a venture-backed videoconferencing company and before that the general counsel of New Venture Partners LLC, a venture capital firm specializing in corporate spinouts. Dror was the co-founding chair of the PLI VC Law program and is a frequent speaker on legal topics at technology meetups and other startup-focused programming in the New York/New Jersey region. He is a member of the model forms drafting group of the National Venture Capital Association and the legal advisory board of the Angel Capital Association. Dror is graduate of Princeton University and Columbia University School of Law. He also earned an executive MBA from the American Electronics Association Executive Institute of Stanford University.
