The Sustainability Seminar Series continues both onsite and online via a Blackboard Collaborate webinar on Wednesday, October 18 with The Development of an Energy Dashboard with Hoong Yan See Tao, Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC).
Hoong Yan See Tao is a Postdoctoral Researcher at SERC. Hoong Yan recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2017 and her dissertation title is “Modeling and Visualization of a Sustainable Energy System in a University as a Smart City”. Hoong Yan has been involved with the Stevens Sustainability Committee and was part of the student-led organizing committee for the inaugural Student Sustainability Symposium in 2016. Hoong Yan earned her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). At UTEP, Hoong Yan was the Chair of the Green Fund Advisory Board, overseeing the selection and funding of campus sustainability projects.
The Sustainability Seminar Series is organized by the Sustainability Management Master's program and sponsored by the Center for Environmental Systems and the Department of Civil, Environmental and Ocean Engineering (CEOE). This seminar is also available online through Blackboard Collaborate.
