Stevens Academic Seminar Series

This workshop will offer an overview of consulting, demonstrating how consultants create value for businesses and showcasing the kinds of early-career opportunities available for students interested in this industry. This workshop will also outline the key skills needed to succeed as a consultant and offer an introduction to the consulting recruitment process. Dean Prastacos will be joined by a group of consultants who will share their professional experience with students who attend. Scheduled panelists include: 

  • Michelle Moreira '17, senior consultant, Protiviti.
  • Alexandra Masciana '17, senior consultant, EY.
  • Scott Penqué Jr., director, PwC.
  • George Serafin, senior managing director, FTI Consulting.
  • Alison Maccarone, senior career advisor, Stevens. 

About the presenter

Dean Gregory Prastacos’ private-sector experience includes consulting and advising to corporations and government agencies. He founded his own management consulting company, OMAS SA, which eventually merged with Deloitte.
