Naomi Oreskes, a historian of science at Harvard University, is the author of the acclaimed bestseller Merchants of Doubt, co-written with Erik Conway, which reveals how capitalist ideologues fostered climate-change denialism.

In this talk, she will discuss her new blockbuster The Big Myth: How American Business Taught Us to Loathe Government and Love the Free Market, also written with Conway, which Kirkus praises as “a thoughtful denunciation of the economic dogma that the market knows best.” Zoom link and passcode to be posted soon.

All Center for Science Writings events are free and open to the public. This event will be held on Zoom, and pre-registration is required.
