SPEAKER: Dr. Haiyan Su

For researchers in medical and health-related fields, using statistical methods to conduct data analysis to answer scientific questions is inevitable. In this webinar, Dr. Su will illustrate some fundamental statistical methods applied in medical or health-related fields through some case studies, including ANOVA, multiple regression, logistic regression, and longitudinal data analysis.

About Dr. Su: Dr. Haiyan Su is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Montclair State University, NJ. She got her PhD from the Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology in the University of Rochester. Her research interests include empirical likelihood-based inference, mixed models, survival analysis, longitudinal analysis and biostatistics applications. Dr. Su has collaborated with many researchers on grants from NSF, NIH and New Jersey Governor's Council for medical research.
