Should We Grant Animals Rights Equal to Ours?

One of the world’s most influential philosophers, Martha C. Nussbaum of the University of Chicago, will discuss her new book Justice for Animals: Our Collective Responsibility, a bold call for a broad expansion of animals’ rights. Primatologist Frans de Waal says we “can’t wish for a more insightful and compassionate guide” to animal rights than Nussbaum.
