The Stevens Police Department is committed to the fair and impartial treatment of all citizens and members of the Stevens community. In furtherance of this objective, and as required by the New Jersey Attorney General's Office Guideline, two forms have been posted if you wish to file a complaint against a member of the department:
- The Internal Affairs Report Form (the standardized statewide public complaint form) that is also available in multiple languages in electronic format on the Attorney General's website https://www.njoag.gov/iapp/
- The Citizen Complaint Information Sheet, that details the Internal Affairs procedures designed to ensure fairness and protect the rights of both citizens and law enforcement.
All complaints should be made to Internal affairs Commander, Deputy Chief Robert DiGenova in person at Police Headquarters, by email at [email protected], or by contacting 201-216-5106. All matters will be kept confidential.
