The President's Distinguished Lecture Series
When Stevens President Nariman Farvardin took office in 2011, he created the President's Distinguished Lecture Series to keep Stevens at the forefront of critical discussions on national and global topics including academics and policy. Invited speakers will include thought leaders from the corporate sector as well as distinguished scientists and engineers.
This series will not only generate excitement within the Stevens community, but also create excitement about Stevens beyond our walls.
A generous gift from William Destler '68, President of Rochester Institute of Technology, supported the launch of the Series, which began presenting public lectures on the Stevens campus in October 2012 with a talk on "Emerging Technology and Its Broad Implications" by Norman Augustine, former CEO and chairman of Lockheed Martin.
For more on scheduled and previous talks in the Lecture Series, visit the Lecture Series web page.
The Stevens Fund is part of a long-standing tradition that invites alumni, parents, friends, faculty members and staff to actively invest in the future of Stevens Institute of Technology by contributing flexible funds for opportunities and initiatives that enrich the University.
On April 6, Stevens celebrated the accomplishments of 13 remarkable individuals at the inaugural Stevens Awards Gala in midtown Manhattan.
Providing financial aid through scholarships is a core commitment of Stevens. The ability to increase the financial aid packages that we offer to students and their families is due to the generosity of our alumni and friends who graciously fund endowed and fellowship scholarships every year.
