Stevens’ special interest communities bring together students who share the same passions and interests. The Lore El Center for Women, the C.A.R.E. House, and many fraternity and sorority houses are types of special interest housing options on or around the Stevens campus. 

Students at Lor-el centerThe Lore El Center for Women provides an exciting and dynamic living and learning community for a small group of undergraduate women at Stevens. The C.A.R.E. House, which stands for Community Awareness Residential Experience, provides an opportunity for students who are dedicated to community service and volunteerism to live with students who share this interest. Additionally, Stevens is also home to 16 fraternities and sororities. 

Applying for Special Interest Housing

Please note that the application process for the C.A.R.E. House and Lor-El Center for Women is separate from the standard housing application. Applications for these communities are available on myStevens during the housing selection period.

The Lore-El Center is a beautiful, Victorian-style home located on upper campus at 802 Castle Point Terrace, within close proximity to fraternity and sorority housing.
