At Stevens, a first-generation college student is someone whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) have not graduated from a four-year college or university. Low-income students are defined as those with total family income of less than $65,000 annually, and receive a Pell Grant, or funding through New Jersey's EOF program.

Stevens is committed to providing a supportive campus environment for first-generation and/or low income (FLI) students’ education beyond academics through involvement in educational social activities that are engaging and informative. All FLI students at Stevens are encouraged to participate in the following opportunities and share their pride to be FLI Ducks!
