A Musical Journey with the Orient Express
Presented by Musica Mundana, Chamber Music Society, College of Arts & Letters, and DeBaun PAC

This concert is an exciting musical program tracing the journey of the famous Orient Express Train at the turn of the 20th century. The program consists of works from major European capitals like Bucharest, Budapest, Vienna, Paris and Istanbul. Included are waltzes and tangos by Debussy, Satie and Piazzolla; gypsy and czardas music by Bartok, Liszt, and Monti; operatic arias by Lehar, Strauss and Offenbach; and, Ottoman Court music from the 19th century. Performers include Members of the Chamber Music Society, Musica Mundana; Aysegul Durakoglu, Pianist and Artistic Director; Leo Grinhauz, Cello; Anthony P. Pennino, Narrator; Claudia Schaer, Violin; and Julie Ziavras, Soprano.
DeBaun PAC offers a secure on-line box office system, which accepts VISA and MasterCard. You can choose for your tickets to be held at "will-call" (for pick-up one hour before curtain in our lobby or at the Box Office), print your tickets at home or transfer your tickets to your smartphone.
In addition, tickets may also be purchased at the box office window one hour prior to each performance. We accept VISA, MasterCard, cash and check. Please note that there are no regular hours of the box office window due to the auditorium being located in an academic building.
The Auditorium doors open approximately half hour before curtain. All seating is general admission, unless otherwise specified.
