Hometown: Ozone Park, NY

Major: Computer Science

As a kid, I always enjoyed video games and wanted to make my own someday. This led me to take game design courses where I was exposed to computer science as a whole. I fell in love with the subject from there. Over the past few years, I have become interested in artificial intelligence and the power of Human-Computer Interactions. My goal is to build AI systems that can be implanted into the brains of individuals with certain deficiencies, allowing them to experience a better day-to-day life. At Stevens, I am involved with the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), which strives to train students to excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact their community. I hope to study abroad in Costa Rica. Because I am Puerto Rican, I plan to take advantage of the opportunity to learn Spanish, as I have yet to learn it and being bilingual will help me in my career endeavors.
