Through the power of its citizens, the world can move towards a sustainable future, and Stevens Institute of Technology is committed to becoming part of that solution.

From the purchase of a biodigester for pre-consumer food waste to numerous water bottle fill stations, the university is dedicated to practicing and promoting sustainability. Our focal areas include recycling, energy efficiency, transportation, purchasing, and food and water conservation. As a community we are forming into a sustainable and environmentally conscious center for innovation and action.

Take the Stevens Sustainability Pledge

Sustainability is an effort that requires the active participation of Stevens students, staff and faculty. The first step in helping to achieve a sustainable community is taking the Stevens Sustainability Pledge. The pledge consists of a list of suggestions for how you can do your part to make a difference on campus and within the Hoboken community. Together, we can accomplish our sustainability goals!
