All students are required to wear face coverings in classrooms and in Stevens owned or leased buildings under the Health Honor Code.
In the classroom, instructors and teaching assistants will be provided with masks to bring to class. If a student forgets to bring a mask, he or she can be provided with one.
If a student refuses to wear a face covering and does not have a written accommodation from the Office of Disability Services, the instructor or teaching assistant should direct the student to leave the classroom and report the violation using the “Report a Concern” function at my.stevens.edu.
If a situation escalates, Stevens campus police may be contacted. Disciplinary action will be taken as needed, and sanctions imposed upon students found to have violated the Health Honor Code. The Office of Student Affairs will follow the established disciplinary process.
Employees who refuse to wear a face covering (and do not have a written accommodation from Human Resources) should be reported to the Division of Human Resources, and disciplinary action will be taken.
In addition to supplies that will be provided to academic and administrative departments, masks will be available for purchase in certain vending machines on campus.
