Subject: Summer 2021 Semester - Access to Campus for In-Person Courses and Research

We are pleased to announce that all undergraduate and graduate students who are registered for courses that are being delivered on campus (either fully on-campus courses or in-person components of hybrid courses) in Summer 2021 will be able to access the campus starting May 20, 2021. In addition, all students and faculty who will be engaged in on-campus research during the Summer 2021 semester will also be able to access the campus. This announcement expands the categories of students who may access campus from the Spring 2021 semester.

In the coming weeks, course modalities (on-campus, hybrid, or online) for the Summer 2021 semester may be updated, and students who are registered for on-campus or hybrid courses during the summer semester will be allowed to opt for fully remote courses.

In addition, summer research opportunities, including on-campus research, will be announced shortly. All faculty and all undergraduate and graduate students who are engaged in on-campus research will be able to access the campus starting May 20, 2021.

Campus health and safety protocols remain in effect and will be applicable to all faculty, staff, and students who access the campus in the Summer 2021 semester including weekly COVID-19 testing for individuals who are not fully vaccinated. The Stevens’ COVID-19 website details these protocols and is updated frequently to reflect changes in health conditions, government guidance, and documentation required for campus access. Please monitor this website for updated guidance and to review FAQs.
