Below is a list of campus services and their hours for the Spring 2021 semester. Stevens provides additional resources and services; please consult the website for the locations and hours of all campus offices.


Mental Health Resources

Free, confidential mental health counseling and crisis intervention services for students are available through Counseling and Psychological Services located on the 2nd floor of the Wellness Center. If you or a fellow student are in a crisis situation and having thoughts of death, dying or suicide, we provide support and response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for psychological emergencies by calling Campus Police at 201-216-3911. 

If you are concerned about another student and not sure what to do, and the student is NOT in immediate danger, you can share your concerns with the Stevens CARE Team. The CARE team is a network of Stevens professionals that provides academic, psychological, medical, and social support for students in need. For any situation involving immediate danger or a threat of danger that is time sensitive, please call Campus Police at 201-216-3911. 

Student Health Services

Student Health Services is operating remotely on weekdays from 9 AM - 4 PM through January 24th. In-person operation will resume on January 25th on weekdays from 9 AM - 4 PM. Beginning on February 1st, the office will remain open on Thursdays until 7 PM. A nurse is available 24/7 when calling the main Student Health Services phone number (201-216-5678). In the event of a medical emergency, please call Campus Police at 201-216-3911 for on-campus assistance or call 911 for assistance outside of the Hoboken area.

Counseling and Psychological Services

CAPS is open on weekdays from 9 AM - 5 PM through the end of January. Screenings with a counselor are available by calling 201-216-5177. Beginning on February 1st, students may call the CAPS office at 201-216-5177 from 9 AM to 5 PM to schedule an appointment. Appointments are available from 9 AM to 9 PM on weekdays.

Emergency Information

As the situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to evolve, many of us are experiencing feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, and fear, which can be overwhelming. If you are experiencing any of these emotions and believe that they are impacting your ability to function or cope, contact a licensed mental health professional immediately. Should any urgent, time-sensitive issue arise on the Stevens campus, please call Stevens Campus Police at 201-216-5105 or 201-216-3911. In case of a life-threatening, time-sensitive mental or physical health emergency occurring off-campus, please contact 911.

Stevens Emergency Alerts

All students should register or update their contact information to receive Stevens’ Everbridge Emergency Alerts. The link for Stevens Alert Everbridge registration is always available through an icon on MyStevens. Stevens Everbridge Emergency Alerts provide important information about campus closings or outages through texts and emails. Be sure to include both your Stevens and personal email addresses as well as a cell phone number. 


Athletic and Recreational Facilities

Stevens’ athletic and recreational facilities will open on Monday, February 1st. Due to limited occupancy, the facilities will only be open to students who are taking classes on campus or athletes practicing or competing; faculty and staff use of the facilities is not permitted at this time. The following facilities will be available to all enrolled students who are permitted on campus for hybrid classes or on-campus residence and are tested weekly for COVID-19:

  • Schaefer Center Fitness Center
  • Schaefer Center Swimming Pool
  • Schaefer Center Swimming Pool Locker Rooms
  • Canavan Arena
  • Auxiliary Gymnasium (bottom level of Schaefer)
  • DeBaun Athletic Complex
  • Tennis Courts

Operating hours are 9 AM – 8 PM from Monday - Friday and 12 PM – 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday unless otherwise specified. Students must enter and exit all facilities in both Schaefer and Walker from the front desk area in the lobby of the Schaefer Center. Unauthorized entry or exit from another location or allowing others to enter from an unauthorized door is strictly prohibited and can result in suspended use of the athletic facilities.

Stevens is following all New Jersey and NCAA protocols and guidelines and as a result, occupancy of the facilities must be significantly reduced and an on-line reservation system has been implemented to maintain capacity limits and allow for contact tracing, if needed. Time limits will also be strictly enforced to ensure that as many students as possible can work out.

All students must wear a mask at all times and practice social distancing. Students are encouraged to minimize the number of personal belongings brought into the facilities.

MindBody, an on-line reservation system, has been implemented to allow students to reserve space. Students are also required to complete an online waiver before accessing the facilities. Below are detailed instructions regarding how to complete this process if you have not done so already:

  1. Please complete your MindBody registration on the Campus Recreation website. Be sure to use your Stevens email address and check the boxes that allow you to receive email and texts.
  2. You will immediately receive a confirmation email instructing you to log into MyStevens and sign the Athletic Department waiver. After the waiver is signed, you will receive a copy via email to keep for your records. If you are under 18 years of age, you must pick up the waiver in person at the Schaefer Center lobby and have it signed by a parent or guardian and then returned to the Schaefer Athletic Center front desk. 
  3. Within 48 hours after you sign the waiver, you will receive a verification email with instructions on how to reserve classes and time slots within the athletic facilities using the MindBody reservation system.

The Schaefer Center Sports Medicine Facilities and the Walker Gymnasium Varsity Weight Room are only available to varsity student-athletes who are permitted on campus for hybrid classes, on-campus residence, or are in-season athletes coming to campus for practice or competition. All must be tested weekly for COVID-19.


The Stevens Bookstore is open for your textbook, course material, and merchandise needs in our store, located in the Howe Center Lobby, Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Purchases can also be made online. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected].

Campus Lounge Space

From January 25th - 29th, the Bissinger Room on the 4th floor of the Howe Center will be open to the Stevens community from 10 AM - 4 PM for socially distanced studying, eating, and socializing. The room allows for two people at a table with a total seating capacity of 36 people. Starting February 1st, both the Bissinger Room and the Babbio tent (heated) will be open for use from Monday - Friday from 10 AM - 7 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM - 5 PM. The Student Center is open from 9 AM - 5 PM on weekdays in January. Starting February 1, the Student Center will be open from 9 AM - 10 PM daily, including weekends. 

Career Center

All Career Center programming and services are available online and can be accessed through the Career Center website and Handshake, the Stevens career management system. A schedule of webinars provided by employers and workshop presentations by the Career Development staff is available on the Career Center website and on Handshake through the Events tab. The Career Center offers Virtual Drop-in Hours weekdays from 12pm-1pm ET on Zoom. Students may drop-in via this Zoom link. Students can make appointments to meet with a career advisor through the Handshake Appointment System. Appointments are conducted virtually or by phone if preferred. Students may access co-ops, internships, and full-time employment opportunities through the Handshake job board. Graduate students may access internship and full-time employment opportunities through the Handshake job board and GoinGlobal.

Community Standards and Title IX

All students should carefully review the Student Handbook for information on the Student Code of Conduct, the Health Honor Code, and specific student policies related to COVID-19, as well as the Title IX website for information about Stevens’ Title IX Policy. Any student wishing to file a report or share information regarding Stevens policies, alleged violations of the Code of Conduct or Title IX policy, or who have any questions about these policies should email Xhiljola Ruci, Director of Community Standards and Title IX Coordinator at [email protected] or use the Report a Concern link on myStevens. The Report a Concern form is open to all students, faculty, and staff who need to report incidents that happen within our community. The Report a Concern form should not be used to report time-sensitive emergencies. The Stevens Dining hours for the winter intersession and the spring semester are as follows:

  • Pierce Café is open from Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 3 PM
  • No mobile ordering or delivery

Friday January 29th - Sunday, January 31st 

  • The Spring 2021 meal plan begins on January 29th 
  • Pierce Dining Hall is open from 7:30 AM – 8 PM daily
  • Pierce Café is open from 8 AM - Midnight daily
  • Mobile ordering pickup and delivery are available through the Grub Hub app

Monday February 1st: Spring 2021 Hours Begin

  • Pierce Dining Hall is open from 7:30 AM – 8 PM daily
  • Pierce Café is open from 8 AM - 12 AM daily
  • CJs is open from 11 AM – 2 PM and 5 PM - 8 PM, Monday - Friday 
  • America's Cup is open from 8 AM - 2 PM, Monday - Friday 
  • Red & Gray is open from 7 AM – 6 PM, Monday - Thursday and 7 AM - 3 PM on Friday
  • Mobile ordering pickup and delivery are available through the Grub Hub app

Disability Services

The goal of the Office of Disability Services (ODS) is to ensure all students have an opportunity for full participation and equal access to campus programs and services. The ODS is primarily working with students virtually this semester, but it is still offering all services that are traditionally offered in-person. Students who had an IEP or a 504 plan, testing accommodations or a disabling medical condition in high school are encouraged to contact the ODS as soon as possible to explore how similar services may be provided at Stevens.

Diversity Education

Diversity Education offers resources, educational events, and cultural celebrations at Stevens. Our engaging virtual programs focus on identity development, social justice education, community-building, empowerment, and allyship – including our Duck Dialogues Series: Social Justice in STEM. DuckCard Office

The DuckCard Office will be operating virtually for the spring semester to accommodate social distancing requirements. Students may visit the DuckCard Office website to view DuckCard Office services, DuckBills merchants, and exclusive deals from "Merchants of the Month" offered every month. If you lose your DuckCard, please deactivate your card immediately and email [email protected] for a replacement card. There is a $20.00 replacement for all lost cards payable by DuckBills only. You can request to add DuckBills to your card when you email your request for a replacement card.

Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid has staff available for assistance during regular office hours. Contact the office at (201)268-5406 or via email [email protected]. You may also contact your financial aid counselor to schedule an appointment. Due to social distancing guidelines, appointments with counselors must be scheduled in advance and will be held via phone or Zoom. 

Graduate Academics & Student Success 

Graduate Academics & Student Success (GA&SS) is offering virtual services, programs, and resources that support academic and professional development. Visit GA&SS Virtual Office Hours from 10 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday via Zoom. All Spring 2021 programming can be found online for master’s students and doctoral students. GA&SS is coordinating tutoring services that connect master's students in need of tutoring with master's or doctoral students. Graduate Education 

The Office of Graduate Education is available remotely for Stevens graduate students and applicants. Please use the links on the Graduate Education website to connect with staff members via Zoom video chat.

Graduate Student Life

Graduate Student Life offers virtual office hours, online programs, and resources with the goal of promoting community-building while still practicing social distancing. The office continues to promote connectivity, health & wellness, and leadership development. Visit our Virtual Office Hours from 10 AM to 4 PM EST, Monday through Friday via Zoom. The Master’s Peer Mentor Program is designed to connect new students with current master’s students to facilitate the transition to graduate life at Stevens; email [email protected] to register. International Student and Scholar Services

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is offering virtual services and assistance during this time. In place of telephone operations for front desk assistance for general inquiries, ISSS is using Zoom Monday - Friday from 9 AM – 12 PM and from 1 PM - 5 PM. For students who wish to speak with an advisor, ISSS offers Advising Hours. Links for the Zoom Front Desk and Virtual Advising Hours, including times and dates, can be found on ISSS Virtual Assistance page. Document pick-up is suspended at this time. If you have a current pick-up time scheduled, ISSS will contact you with instructions regarding receiving your I-20 by mail. Current and future requests for I-20s will be sent via email (where permitted) or via mailing services upon request. ISSS continues to utilize email assistance Monday through Friday 9 AM – 5 PM; for Immigration Questions and Concerns use [email protected] and for Application Submission use [email protected].

IT Support

All technology support will be provided remotely and accessible via the hotline (201-380-6599) from 9 AM - 5 PM from Monday - Friday until January 25th. If technical support is needed during this time, first search the Knowledge Base for assistance. If assistance is still needed, please submit a service request by emailing [email protected] or going directly to the IT Service Desk ticketing system. Beginning February 1st, User Support Service is available to answer all of your technology support questions from 8 AM - 8 PM from Monday – Thursday, and from 8 AM - 7:30 PM on Fridays by email at [email protected], Self Service Ticket, or by calling 201-380-6599. Walk-in and desk-side support are available at the TRAC location near the Samuel C. Williams Library with capacity and safety restrictions in place from Monday – Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM.


The Samuel C. Williams Library building is currently closed with remote library services and research support available online. Please visit for research help via ASK US chat; research consultations with a librarian; access to research databases, journals, and e-books; and research guides. Parking Guidelines

Student parking guidelines have changed for the Spring 2021 semester. Only the following students are eligible to apply for semester parking permits:

  • Undergraduate students who are enrolled in StevensFlex, permitted on campus, and live outside Hoboken
  • Graduate/PhD students who are enrolled in StevensFlex, permitted on campus, and live outside Hoboken.
  • Student employees who are permitted on campus and live outside Hoboken.
  • Students who have co-op jobs, off-campus internships obtained through Stevens, or AFROTC/ROTC appointments and live in Hoboken in private housing or leased Greek housing.

Students living in Stevens housing during the Spring 2021 semester may not apply for parking permits. Daily parking permits are available for students who expect to park on campus only a few times during the semester. Additional information about student parking is available on the myStevens Transportation and Parking website. The Office of the Registrar continues to serve the campus virtually by email at [email protected] and by student-requested Zoom meetings. Students may schedule appointments through the Virtual Registrar website. The Virtual Registrar site contains office updates. Please also visit the Academics and Research Return to Campus site for policy updates and answers to frequently asked questions. The Change of Attendance Election form for continuing students who are eligible to take on-campus courses will re-open on Tuesday January 19th. An email will be sent to students with additional information about the Change of Attendance Election form next week.

Student Accounts

The Office of Student Accounts can be reached by email at [email protected] to schedule virtual or in-person appointments for bill review or to assist with making payments. You may also schedule an appointment with staff using our booking page. Online payments may be submitted through eBilling.

Student Employment

The Student Employment office will reopen in-person on January 25, 2021 with hours from 9 AM - 2 PM, Tuesday – Friday. The office is located on the 5th floor of the Howe Center. Students may also reach the office via email at [email protected] or by phone (201-216-3365 or 201-216-3972) for assistance. Please note that students who are hired for on-campus positions must participate in weekly COVID-19 testing and follow all COVID-19 policies and guidelines.

Student Life (Undergraduate)

Whether you are online or on-campus, the Office of Undergraduate Student Life is here to help you connect and stay involved. Our office can connect you to over 100 clubs and organizations, 20 fraternities and sororities, as well as give you valuable experiences in Diversity Education, Leadership Development, Community Service, and Civic Engagement. Study Abroad

The Office of International Programs is open virtually Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm, as well as by appointment with Co-op students. Virtual International Internships and virtual study abroad courses for the Summer of 2021 are a great way to access global learning while remaining safely at home. Weekly Info Sessions on Wednesdays at 3pm via Zoom allow you to discover all the opportunities! Undergraduate Education

Students should refer to the revised Spring 2021 Academic Calendar when planning for the upcoming semester. Any undergraduate student needing support and assistance with coursework and study skills should connect with the staff from the Academic Support Center.

Wellness Education

Wellness Education is committed to supporting student success both personally and academically. Students are encouraged to engage in weekly Zoom Works hops and Office Hours focusing on various topics such as self-care, stress-management, healthy relationships, gratitude, and more! Remember, you can schedule a meeting with the Wellness Educator to discuss your overall wellness and/or challenges you are working through. 

Writing and Communications Center

The Writing & Communications Center is offering both one-on-one appointments and group workshops online. From our webpage, students view a list of workshops with zoom links and can make a synchronous (real-time) or asynchronous appointment. New students can register by selecting "register for an account." Our office in Morton 210 is also open for quick questions and troubleshooting.
