Hermes González-Bello is the President of HACH in Loveland, Colorado. Since its founding in 1947, HACH has been committed to helping our customers find innovative solutions to manage their water more efficiently and accurately. HACH is a global leader offering a comprehensive set of products, chemistries, services and software in Drinking, Waste and Industrial Water applications. HACH’s operational and commercial footprint is global in nature with over 5,600 associates worldwide.
Prior to coming back to HACH, Hermes held the position of President, PALL Industrial headquartered in Port Washington, NY. PALL is a recognized global leader in Filtration, Separation and Purification technologies. The industrial group of companies is made up of the Fluid Technologies & Asset Protection, Micro Electronics and Aerospace Business Units. The group employs over 3,000 associates with manufacturing locations in the US, Mexico, UK, Germany, China and Japan and it is part of the larger PALL organization.
Prior to joining PALL Industrial, Hermes held various positions of increasing responsibility at Danaher Corporation’s Water Platform, as President Aquafine Corporation, President HACH Environmental and Vice President & General Manager of Danaher Water Quality Group, Latin America. These businesses play a critical role in the measurement of important water quality parameters, disinfection of water and hydrological and meteorological variables, critical to health and safety of our planet.
Earlier in his career, Hermes spent 15 years at Emerson in the Process Management and Instrumentation groups, mainly focused in Sales & Commercial management of Liquid and Gas Analytical Instrumentation as well as leading the Emerson Flow Group in Latin America, with companies such as Micro Motion, Rosemount Flow and Daniel Measurement & Control under his management responsibility.
Hermes is a present and past member of various company and industry associations and boards such as founding member of Danaher’s Diversity & Inclusion Council, Executive Sponsor of Danaher’s LatinX Associates Resource Group, Danaher’s Latin America Board, the US Department of Commerce Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee (ETTAC) and the Stevens Institute of Technology President’s Leadership Council.
Hermes holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Management (BE ’89) and a Master Science Degree, Management Planning (MS ’95) from Stevens Institute of Technology. During his time at Stevens Hermes served as Treasurer, VP and President of the Latin American Association, Founder and President of the National Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and Founder and President of Lambda Theta Phi fraternity.
Hermes and his wife Maria, also a graduate of Stevens – BE ’89, have been married for 29 years and are the proud parents of Ana Paula, 16 and Diego 19.
