Stevens requires weekly testing for any on-campus student, faculty or staff member who is exempt from the vaccine requirement (unvacccinated). Additionally, fully vaccinated students, faculty and staff will be selected at random to participate in weekly COVID-19 testing until further notice. Fully vaccinated students, faculty and staff will receive an email by Thursday of each week if they are selected for testing on the following Wednesday, at which point they will be directed to register for and schedule their test.
If it has been less than two weeks since your single-dose shot or since your second shot in a two-dose series, or if you still need to get your second dose of a two-dose vaccine, or if you are eligible for a booster shot but have not yet received one, then you are not fully protected and should continue to practice all prevention steps, including masking and participating in the weekly testing, until you are fully vaccinated.
Students, faculty and staff with an approved exemption to the COVID-19 vaccination requirement from either Student Health Services or Human Resources are required to participate in weekly COVID-19 testing until further notice. The only exception to the weekly testing requirement for exempt or partially vaccinated individuals is that after a COVID-19 infection, there is a 90-day pause on weekly testing.
Any test results from off-campus testing must be submitted online.
