Please review the updates below and visit the Stevens COVID-19 website for more information about Stevens’ operations and guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Community Enforcement of Mask-Wearing
All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to ask any member of the Stevens community to wear a mask or to wear it properly (i.e., covered nose and mouth) as appropriate. Faculty and staff are urged to ask any member of the Stevens community to leave a classroom or public space if they are not masked. Should offices need disposable masks, please submit a work order to Facilities and Campus Operations. Faculty and teaching staff are encouraged to read the COVID FAQs for On-Campus Instruction, which provides guidance regarding student absences and illness in addition to the masking policy.

Reporting COVID-19 Symptoms, Exposure or Positive Test Results
If any student, faculty or staff member experiences COVID-19 symptoms, tests positive for COVID-19, or has close contact with an individual who tests positive for COVID-19, please isolate and immediately contact Stevens Student Health Services at 201-216-5678 or [email protected].

Stevens COVID-19 Cases Since the last email on September 14, nine students have tested positive for COVID-19. The individuals who have tested positive are isolating and their close contacts have been notified. Please see Stevens’ COVID-19 Dashboard for complete fall 2021 data.

Stevens On-Campus Vaccination Rate All students, faculty and staff who come to campus for the 2021-22 school year are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption from the vaccination requirement. For the Fall 2021 semester, 97.3% of the on-campus population of students, faculty and staff are fully vaccinated. Vaccination rates are calculated for Stevens’ on-campus population based on proof of vaccination submitted to the university.

Weekly COVID Testing: A Requirement for Vaccine Exemptions and Partially Vaccinated Individuals
Weekly COVID-19 testing takes place on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Corcoran Room on the first floor of Gateway North. Any student, faculty or staff coming to campus who is exempt from the vaccine requirement or who is not yet fully vaccinated must participate in weekly COVID-19 testing. Vaccinated individuals do not participate in the weekly on-campus testing. Read more and register for a weekly test.

Thank you for your cooperation in complying with these important requirements.
