Subject: Health Advisory: Face Masks Required Indoors - Effective Immediately

The pandemic is rapidly evolving, and the rise of the Delta variant has increased the risk of illness and transmission of COVID-19 for everyone in our community, including vaccinated individuals.

Therefore, effective immediately and until further notice, all faculty, staff, students, contractors, vendors, and visitors are required to wear face masks in all indoor, public campus spaces regardless of vaccination status. Individuals may remove their mask while eating or drinking and when in private spaces such as a personal office, residence hall room or an individual restroom.

Vaccinated instructors may choose to remove their face mask while teaching or presenting if they can maintain a six-foot distance from students or participants. Instructors should, where practicable, stand behind plexiglass partitions that are provided in each classroom.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support as we strive to keep our community safe.
