As we begin the transition back to more typical campus operations, this announcement is the final weekly Health Advisory for the foreseeable future. Moving forward, Health Advisory announcements will be sent as needed to communicate important information. Updates to Stevens’ Indoor Masking Policy
Masking indoors is now optional in campus facilities at times when physical distance can be maintained. Masking will be optional in indoor settings such as residence hall rooms and communal spaces, office spaces, meetings and events involving small groups of people, and the Schaefer Athletic Center. Masking will continue to be required of all members of the community during classes and in all indoor campus facilities, shuttles and events at which physical distance cannot be maintained. Examples of settings where masking will continue to be required for all individuals include classes and instructional settings, crowded indoor events, at Student Health Services, and when riding the Stevens Shuttle. Any individual who would like to continue wearing a mask in any setting is welcome to do so at any time. No health status or other assumptions should be made about anyone who continues to wear a mask, nor should anyone who continues to wear a mask be pressured to remove their mask in any setting.

Weekly On-Campus COVID-19 Testing
(for Exempt Individuals and Random Testing of Vaccinated Individuals)

Weekly COVID-19 testing takes place on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Corcoran Room on the first floor of Gateway North. Any student, faculty or staff coming to campus who has an approved exemption from the vaccine requirement or who is not yet fully vaccinated (and has notified Student Health Services or Human Resources) must participate in weekly COVID-19 testing. Stevens students and employees who are getting COVID-19 tests off campus and submitting their required test results should submit them here. On-campus students, faculty, and staff who are vaccinated will be randomly selected to participate in weekly testing throughout the spring semester. Read more and register for a weekly test.

Stevens COVID-19 Cases
During the past week, 14 students and 9 staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.
