Join the Center for Science Writings (CSW) for "In the Beginning: Recent Tales of the Origin of Life," a lecture by historian Nathaniel Comfort.

A historian of biology at Johns Hopkins University, Comfort will discuss the quest to solve one of science’s deepest mysteries, the origin of life on earth. Comfort has held the NASA/Library of Congress Chair in Astrobiology, and he serves on the advisory council of the Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence project, METI, which transmits messages to star systems that might harbor intelligent life.
