At Stevens, we try to make applying to college
as simple and stress-free as possible. You may apply as early as the end of your junior year of high school.
As soon as all of your materials arrive to complete your application,
we review your file and make a decision.
What you need to do:
1. Download, complete, and submit the Stevens Undergraduate Admissions Application (PDF) with the $55 application fee. You may also apply using our free online application.
2. Submit the following items to "complete" your
file. The Admissions Committee will then begin reviewing it.
- Official High School Transcript
- Official College Transcript, if applicable
- SAT I or ACT score
- Letters of Recommendation from one guidance counselor and at
least one teacher
- Personal Statement of 300-500 words
- SAT II scores are optional for admission to any program except
for the Accelerated Programs, for which these items are required.
3. Visit Stevens and complete the admissions
interview requirement:
Visiting the campus is extremely important when applying to college.
It gives you a sense of the community, along with allowing us to
get to know you better. If you live within a 250-mile radius, an
on-campus interview is required. Schedule an interview online.
If you live too far away to visit during the school year we will
schedule a phone interview for you with a counselor.
You might want to consider visiting Stevens during your summer vacation following your junior year. An appointment for an interview may
be arranged by contacting the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
at (201) 216-5194, (800) 458-5323, or admissions@stevens.edu.
