ALPHA EPSILON DELTA
This is the Honors Premedical Society branch at Stevens. There are requirements
for becoming a member of this Society as listed by the state branch. The requirements
are that you must have a 3.0 average over your two years at Stevens and you
must have completed at least two years (You must be a Junior to apply) and
you must release an official copy of your transcript to us. There is also a
entrance fee into the Society as required by the National Branch. AED is starting
its 3rd year at SIT and inducts members at the end of the spring semester.
AED usually deals with Health Related Careers and works closely with the Pre-Med
Society. You need not be a member of the Pre-Med Society to enter the AED.
The AED usually holds a health fair every year, a trip to UMDNJ, an agreement
for MCAT reviews with the Princeton Review at discounted prices, and volunteer
work with St. Mary Hospital and St. Francis Hospital. |

NATIONAL SOCIETY OF COLLEGIATE
JOURNALISTS
Membership in the Society of Collegiate Journalists, the national
honorary journalism society fraternity, is accorded to students
who have excelled or shown superior drive in student publications
or WCPR. The Society of Collegiate Journalists appoints or
approves the editors of The Link. The Society also supervises
elections for The Stute and WCPR. The Society of Collegiate
Journalists serves in an advisory capacity to the Student
Council as well as to member publications and WCPR. |
