RISK MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES FOR CHAPTERS AND FRATERNITY PURCHASING INSURANCE GROUP (FIPG)
The Risk Management Policy of the National Interfraternity Conference, which appears on the next page, is also the policy of the Fraternity Purchasing Insurance Group. All member fraternities and sororities of the Fraternity purchasing Insurance Group (FIPG) are expected to abide by the FIPG policies.

In addition to binding those chapters that purchase FIPG insurance, this risk management policy is recommended to all chapters to use as a guideline when planning chapter activities and events.

Those policies of the FIPG, which the college is committed to enforcing, are reprinted in the policy section of this manual. When an FIPG chapter appears to be in violation of any FIPG regulation, the college may report such activity to the Risk Management official of the chapter’s national organization.

Stevens Institute of Technology officials may pursue and action against the chapters when an FIPG violation also constitutes a violation of College policy, the Campus Code of Conduct, State, or Federal law.
