Who We Are

The Stevens Choir is the primary choral group at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Singing a variety of music, ranging from classical choral pieces to modern arrangements, the mixed group is comprised of about 35 men and women. Membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as Stevens staff and faculty.

Rehearsals take place from 6:45pm-9:00pm on Monday and Thursday evenings in the Ondrick Music Room on the 4th floor of the Howe Center. The next concert is:

Spring Concert
Chansons pour notre amie / Songs for Our Friend
Saturday, April 19th at 8pm
DeBaun Auditorium, Edwin A. Stevens Hall
$5 Suggested Donation ($2 Stevens students)

This Spring's concert is dedicated to the memory of Marie-Joan Dutreuil, 1984-2007. MJ was a member of the Choir and a voice student at Stevens until her graduation in 2007.

The program features pieces from each concert in which Marie-Joan sang, including several of her personal favorites. The Choir will premiere a new piece, "Ode pour Marie," written in her honor by Composer-in-Residence James Redcay.

Donations in Marie-Joan's honor will be accepted at the concert for the Hoboken chapter of the American Cancer Society, one of several charities in which she was active.
