Healthcare Delivery: Information and Incentives

The U.S. healthcare system is basically a federation of millions of entrepreneurs with no one in charge. The CCSE team has characterized healthcare as a complex adaptive system composed of intelligent agents that learn and adapt. This idea sounds great except many of these agents have conflicting interests and priorities. We found that the keys to transforming healthcare are robust interoperable information systems and incentives that are aligned with high quality affordable care for everyone.
