This course will address operations, logistics and maintenance from the systems perspective. It will focus on what can be done during the early stages of the life cycle through proper planning and implementation. It will address the total life-cycle needs from the identification of the customer's needs from requirements, functional analysis, allocation, synthesis, design optimization, evaluation and validation ensuring that the systems can be effectively and efficiently supported through its planned life cycle. In addition the logistical support infrastructure will be investigated to assure the proper activities are included in the design, development and production phases.
