Systems Reliability and Life Cycle Analysis

Course Number:
SYS 610
This course will explore the interactions of hardware and software components and why system design, testing and implementation usually fail. The course will use Markov modeling techniques and Petri nets to balance system and component reliability, system effectiveness, maintainability and availability within the cost constraints of the program project. Throughout this course, several reliability tools will be used to demonstrate the practical and theoretical applications of system reliability.
