The SSE hosts leadership workshop for the first graduating class of NASA's SELDP program
On June 24, 2009, Stevens Institute of Technology led by the School of Systems and Enterprises conducted a systems engineering leadership workshop for the first graduating class of NASA’s Systems Engineering Leadership Development Program (SELDP), held on-site at NASA’s headquarters in Washington, DC.
NASA's Chief Engineer, Mike Ryschkewitsch, was present, together with Christine Williams, Director SELDP, and technical leadership from each of the NASA Centers, including Johnson Space Center, Ames Research Center, Dryden Flight Research Center, Glenn Research Center, Kennedy Space Center, Marshall Space Flight Center, Stennis Space Center, Wallops, and Goddard Space Flight Center to recognize the 15 graduates of the elite SELDP program. |

Northrop Grumman recently held a graduation ceremony in Manhattan Beach, California where twenty-one of its engineering employees graduated with Master's degrees in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Delivered on-site at the company's El Segundo, CA and Bethpage, NY facilities, the students completed Stevens Systems Engineering courses through the School's Systems Design and Operational Effectiveness (SDOE) program. |
|  |  | SSE announces new Virginia and Kevin Ruesterholz Scholarship in Engineering Management for Undergraduates
Virginia and Kevin Ruesterholz have established a $10,000 scholarship fund to recognize and reward outstanding leadership and achievement in Engineering Management among the undergraduate student population at Stevens Institute of Technology. The award will be granted to a senior in Engineering Management who meets the requirements listed below, and who best exemplifies the value of an Engineering Management education.
Criteria for Eligibility include:
