Veterans Services

Stevens wants to ensure that veterans receive the services they need to seamlessly transition in to the Stevens community. The Stevens Veterans Office, in coordination with other institutional offices on campus, offer students health and counseling services, fitness facilities, and access to the campus ministry.

Health Services

Stevens Student Health Center is a primary health care facility which offers professional services to the Stevens student. All currently registered undergraduate and graduate students are automatically eligible to use the Health Center. These services include health promotion and disease prevention, care during acute and chronic phases of illness, and referrals to outside providers when appropriate. There is no charge for treatment at the Student Health Center.

Fitness Facilities

The Schaefer Recreation Center is the primary recreation facility on campus. The Student Fitness Center, located on the second floor of the Schaefer Center, is a complete and comprehensive student fitness facility. Here you can choose from a wide variety of cardio and strength training equipment. The Fitness Center also offers semester long group exercise programs that includes classes like pilates, indoor cycling, areobics, modern dance, and cardio kickboxing. The Schaefer Center also houses full size Basketball Courts, Raquetball Courts, Fitness Rooms, the Wrestling Room, and the DeBaun Aquatic Center.

The Walker Gymnasium is home to the Varsity weight rooms and to both the mens' and womens' varsity locker rooms. Additionally, the Walker Gym houses indoor basketball courts, as well as, an a newly renovated indoor track. In addition to the indoor fitness facilities, Stevens also has outdoor tennis courts, as well as, the DeBaun Field and Dobbelaar Baseball Field.

Campus Ministry

The Stevens Campus Ministry sponsors activities and programs for the cultivation of human spirituality and faith. Campus Ministry invites each member of the Stevens community to participate in those programs which serve to nurture her or his spiritual growth, regardless of their religious affiliation. The Campus Ministry Staff can provide you with one-to-one pastoral counseling and spiritual direction. They can also refer you to medical, economic or academic assistance.
