Past and present Stevens Ducks are invited to 2014 Homecoming Weekend!

Join Stevens alumni, current students and their families at the university’s annual tradition of Homecoming on Oct. 17-19, 2014. Homecoming brings together past and present members of the Stevens community for a weekend of exciting festivities and reunions.

Stevens Athletics The Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2014 will be inducted at a formal cocktail party and dinner beginning at 7pm on Friday, October 17. All students, parents, alumni and fans are invited to cheer on several Stevens’ teams in an action-packed day at the De Baun Athletic Complex on Saturday, October 18. The field hockey and women’s soccer teams host important Empire 8 Conference contests at 11am and 2pm respectively while the women and men’s lacrosse teams host alumni games at 8am and 5pm.

*The pass for all athletic events held on Saturday is $5. On Friday, fans can register and pick up passes when checking in for Homecoming and Freshman Parents Weekend. On Saturday, all fans can purchase the pass at any of the DeBaun Athletic Complex stadium gates.

The Stevens Alumni Association welcomes all returning alumni to join in the weekend’s activities. Highlights of the weekend include the Alumni Legacy Reception, which honors the legacy of families that graduated from Stevens; the Oktoberfest beer tasting event; and the Edwin A. Stevens Society Associate Member event.

Freshman Parents Weekend, hosted by the Stevens Office of Student Life helps parents of the newest members of the Stevens community experience college life. Relatives of the Class of 2018 can participate in campus tours, a community barbeque, and seminars on undergraduate academics, careers and internships, and health and safety.

The DeBaun Performing Arts Center will feature performances by musicians and actors in the Stevens community and is open to all Homecoming attendees. Listen to the Stevens Jazz Band, sing along with the Stevens Choir, and enjoy “And The World Goes ’Round” – the Kander & Ebb musical revue.

For Freshman Parents - Presentations on Transitioning to College, Health Services, Campus Safety and Undergraduate Academics

Stevens staff and administrators will address counseling services, health services, campus safety and undergraduate academics at Stevens.

Welcome Reception with the Stevens Jazz Band 

Walker Lawn: 5-7 p.m. 
Enjoy live music and refreshments with parents, alumni, staff, faculty and students.

Play-Along With with the Jazz Band

Alumni are invited to bring their instruments and play along with the Stevens Jazz Band. (participants are strongly encouraged to attend rehearsal on Wednesday, October 15 at 6:30pm in the Ondrick Music Room)

Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Bissinger Room, Howe Center: 7-10 p.m.
Join fellow alumni, coaches, teammates and friends for cocktails and dinner celebrating the induction of Stevens' most prestigious athletes into the Athletic Hall of Fame. The 2014 inductees are:

Celebrate the legacy of families that graduated from Stevens at the Alumni Legacy Reception. Hosted by the Stevens Alumni Association, the reception brings together generations of alumni families to celebrate the rich history of Stevens and welcome the next generation of graduates.

Sing Along with the Stevens Choir

Alumni are invited to sing along with the Stevens Choir as they prepare for the Performing Arts Showcase later in the day. Enjoy a continental breakfast and learn to sing “Witness” and the “Stevens Alma Mater” in four-part harmony.
