In today's globally competitive business world, the role of technology in successful business models has elevated considerably. The pace of change in business is faster than ever before as new technologies and innovations force industries and firms to find new ways to compete and survive. For companies to succeed in this environment, they need transformational business leaders who know how to leverage technology to solve complex business problems and improve core business performance.

The Stevens MBA is designed for professionals that seek advanced management education. The curriculum examines key components of business operations, including accounting, finance, statistics, project management, and organizational leadership. The program also allows students to customize their degree by selecting one of nine concentrations, including information systems, financial engineering, and engineering management.

MBA Program Options

Stevens offers two MBA program options.

Flex MBA: The 48-credit Flex MBA option is designed for working professionals with at least two-years of work experience. Students are able take evening and online courses; and can take courses part-time allowing them to complete their degree in as little as three years. Alternatively, they can choose to accelerate their passage through the program by opting for full-time status, which enables them to obtain their degree in as little as two years.

Experienced Professional MBA: The 48-credit Experienced Professional MBA option is a specialized program designed for working professionals having at least five years of work experience. This is a lock-step, cohort program that takes place on the Stevens campus on alternate Saturdays.

Students who possess a  Master’s degree from the Howe School of Technology Management can earn their MBA degree through the Flex MBA program with as few as 24 additional credits.  This is referred to as a Dual MS/MBA option.
