Master of Science - Technology Management (MSTM)

The Master of Science in Technology Management is a specialized Master’s program designed for working professionals having at least five years of full-time work experience who seek to enhance their careers at the intersection of business and technology.  Courses are delivered on campus on alternating Saturdays. The cohort structure of this program enables a rich learning environment in a peer group that will greatly expand your network of contacts and sources of information.

  • EMT 657 Operations Management (Students who are concluding with MSTM may elect to take a technology elective instead)

In addition to the coursework, students learn from the collective knowledge of fellow students who have five to over twenty years of work experience and represent a range of organizations and job functions. The team-oriented environment provides intellectual stimulation and mutual support. The connections you will make in the classroom, and as part of the alumni community will result in a strong professional network after graduation.

Note: Students have the option of graduating with the MS degree at the completion of the program, or continuing in a 4-course extension leading to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.  

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for admission, applicants should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.*
  • 5 + years of relevant work experience — managerial experience is preferred but is not required for admission to the program.

* Consideration will be given to prospective students with non-technical undergraduate degrees provided they have appropriate technology-based work experience.
