Commencement: Class of 2013

Stevens Institute of Technology will celebrate the Class of 2013 during its 141st Commencement on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J.

For the first time in university history, Stevens has outgrown its charming Hoboken, N.J. campus for the purposes of end-of-year Commencement. Reflecting the university’s steady growth, Stevens will host its 141st Commencement ceremonies off-site at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J., a short commute from Castle Point. The ceremony on Thursday, May 23 will begin at 10 a.m. for graduate students and 3 p.m. for undergraduate students.

Provost’s Banquet for Graduate Students

Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Canavan Arena.

Senior Awards Ceremony

Time: 7:00 PM
Location: DeBaun Auditorium - Edwin A. Stevens Building.

Ph.D Hooding Ceremony

Time: 4:00 PM
Location: DeBaun Auditorium -  Edwin A. Stevens Building.

Graduation 2013 Festival

Time: 5:00 PM
Location: Stevens Campus.

Graduate Commencement

  • Graduate students should arrive at IZOD Center by 9:00 a.m.
  • Graduate academic procession begins at 9:45 a.m.
  • Graduate ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m.

Undergraduate Commencement

  • Undergraduate students should arrive at IZOD Center by 2:00 p.m.
  • Undergraduate academic procession begins at 2:45 p.m.
  • Undergraduate ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m.
