Commencement: Class of 2015

Stevens Institute of Technology will celebrate the Class of 2015 during its 143rd Commencement on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

This year, Stevens will host its 143rd Commencement ceremonies at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, only a short commute from Castle Point in Hoboken. The ceremony will be on Wednesday, May 20 and will be held in the morning. The week leading up to Commencement has events on campus for Graduate, Undergraduate and Ph.D. students, celebrating their respective accomplishments at Stevens.

The Commencement website will be updated with current information by the beginning of February 2015.

Commencement Events

Graduate Awards Ceremony

DeBaun Auditorium, Edwin A. Stevens Hall

Time:  4 p.m. (with reception on EAS Lawn following)

Presentation of academic awards to graduating graduate students, coordinated through the Office of Graduate Student Affairs.

Undergraduate Awards Ceremony

DeBaun Auditorium, Edwin A. Stevens Hall

Time:  4 p.m. (with reception on EAS Lawn following)

Presentation of academic and co-curricular awards to members of the graduating senior class, coordinated through the Office of the Dean of Students.  

Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony

DeBaun Auditorium, Edwin A. Stevens Hall

Time:  4 p.m. (with champagne toast on EAS Lawn following)

Specialized recognition event for all graduating doctoral degree candidates, coordinated through the Office of Graduate Student Affairs.  

 

Graduation Festival

Lawns across Stevens campus

Time:  5-8 p.m.

Each School and College will have a gathering area where the Class of 2015, both undergraduate and graduate, can meet and greet their respective faculty and staff members. The Festival will feature food, live music, giveaways and photo opportunities. 

Commencement Ceremony

One commencement ceremony will be held in the morning, exact time TBA.
